The Pamplin Area Legacy Supporters (PALS) and The Friends of High Bridge Trail State Park are sponsoring a dinner and dance for our local veterans and their families to the music of "Glory Bound", a local gospel/bluegrass band.

In a partnership program with Three Roads Brewing Company, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Piedmont Area Veterans Council, Daughters of the American Revolution, Military Officers Association of America, and the Farmville Jarheads, High Bridge Trail State Park will be a key host in offering what is to be known as "the best darn Veterans Day event the Heart of Virginia has ever seen!" This festival will start with opening ceremonies with a local brass band at 1:30 p.m. There will be plenty of food and drink available, music, and sponsor booths.

The Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in Farmville is a sweet, local, festive event that ushers in the Winter Holidays.
