Let's start out the new year on the right foot!  We are looking for some folks who love the great outdoors and what better way to do that than a relaxing hike through James River State Park.  You can choose between two hikes depending on what your interest is.

Enjoy calling and hearing our night time feathered friends, while having a relaxing ride through the park in our wagon. We have limited space so you must pay and sign up in advance at the visitor center.

Experience life in the early 19th century with live music, blacksmiths, photographer, cooking, period camp, boats, and much more. This event will focus on two important parts of history from this area that had a profound influence on transportation and music in America: “batteaux and banjos” See what it was like to live in the middle of the 19th century. It will be true living history!
