Music of Bob Seger, AC/DC, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers Showcased at the Premieres

LIVE WIRE

AC/DC Tribute band LIVE WIRE will play at the Heritage Amphitheater in June.

Music is one of the many triggers for memories of my early adulthood. One performer in particular whose music brings a flood of jovial emotions and playful scenes of the past is Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band.  His music was with me during a time in my life where I was spreading my wings and flying on my own.  I was finally out of school and trying to find my way in life.  Nutbush City Limits, Against the Wind and Turn the Page got me through times of loss and times of fulfillment. Thanks to tribute bands, I’m able to step back in time and relive the days of the pass through music.

Bob Seger tribute band, Hollywood Nights, will play at Pocahontas State Park.

I’m so excited to hear that during the month of June, Pocahontas Premieres concert series is bringing three tribute bands to the stage of the Heritage Amphitheater. Tribute bands have become a subculture in the world of music and some are just about as good as the original musician they portray. You can’t miss this opportunity to hear the music of some of the greatest bands to bless the music scene.

Tribute bands scheduled to play in June are:

Red NOT Chili Peppers will bring the energetic and funky rock chart-topping hits of the Red Hot Chili Peppers on Friday, June 13, 2014.

LIVE WIRE will pay tribute to the Australian band AC/DC on Saturday, June 21, 2014.

Hollywood Nights will re-create the music of the iconic Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band on Saturday, June 28, 2014.
