Music on the Cliffs begins a New Summer Season at Westmoreland 2016
Join us on the spectacular cliffs overlooking the Potomac River for the warm southern sounds of summer at Westmoreland State Park.
Mark your calendars for Saturday June 18, 2016 as we kick off the Music on the Cliffs Summer Season
Our series opens with the Southern Bred Band. The band consists of a group of talented musicians and vocalists from Virginia's Northern Neck, specializing in "Southern Rock" and "Country". Band members include Bob Townsend (Lead Guitar, Piano & Vocals), Murphy Bailey (Drums), Trent Jones (Rhythm and Lead Guitar and Vocals),Larry Lewis (Bass), Doug Kemp (Vocals),John Lewis (Rhythm Guitar)and David Taylor (Sound & Quality Control).
Music on the Cliffs is presented every 3rd Saturday from June until September.
Concerts start at 6:30 p.m.

So gather your family and your friends, pack the picnic basket, grab a blanket and head out to Westmoreland State Park. Whether you are already a fan or new to the concerts, you will have a great time relaxing and enjoying the tunes and scenery.
There is no fee for the concerts, however, parking fees do apply so consider coming out early and enjoying the park before the evening show. Coolers are welcome but please no alcoholic beverages.
