1. SNORKEL
You can snorkel at Natural Tunnel State Park, no there is no ocean nearby these mountains, but there is still plenty of water. Water means cooling off in the hot summer months.

4. WHUSSUP?
Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP) is a popular way to keep your cool when you visit a Virginia State Park. Many of our parks offer SUP for rent, like Westmoreland State Park.
5. SAILING
Catch a breeze with the wind in your sails at Claytor Lake State Park. You can rent a sailboat (with previous experience) or many other water crafts like pontoon and ski boats at Claytor Lake Water Sports.
