Our dog is a part of our family, and there is no greater place to take her than camping at a Virginia State Park! The reason our family chose Virginia State Parks in the first place is that they are pet friendly!

Dogs are a part of the family and they love to go camping at Virginia State Parks
When we began our journey to find campgrounds and cabins for our family, we were sad to find out that at some other state park systems, dogs aren't allowed to overnight! Our dog is an integral part of our family.

At Virginia State Parks we discovered that not just one or two cottages are pet friendly, but all of them! Campgrounds are the same, not just personal RV's but all campsites allow dogs.
There is a $10 per night fee per pet in the cabins, and there is NO FEE to bring your pets to Virginia State Parks campgrounds!
Time to make your plans to overnight at a Virginia State Park!
Virginia State Parks provide comfortable and economical overnight accommodations. There are more than 300 cozy, climate-controlled cabins of various sizes throughout the state. Many cabins are available year round. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of modern-day life, you can't beat a Virginia State Park cabin.
