Claytor Lake is a-callin y'all!
We spent a week at Claytor Lake State Park, we chose cabin 13 as it is the only one with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. All the cabins are waterfront at Claytor Lake State Park, by the way. But having a mostly female family we knew this was the best cabin for us!
Cabin 13 is situated on a cove or as they say hollow, right on the water's edge

This is a housekeeping cabin which in a nutshell means all the linens and kitchen ware is provided for you. Bring the food, the kids, the dog, the bikes and the canoe!

You can reserve cabins up to 11 months in advance, so I am sharing this info with you so you can book this cabin for next year, if it is already reserved for the rest of this Summer or Fall. This park is also open in the Winter months, and makes a great romantic winter getaway.
