Great food, friends, and art and wine! It's the 7th annual Art & Wine Festival at Caledon State Park on Saturday November 3, 2012 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Taste a variety of regional wines, meet artists while they work, find a unique holiday gift, feast on catered food in a garden, take a hay wagon ride through the colorful trails to overlooks of the Potomac River...sound intriguing? It is. That's why this is the 7th one!

 Eat, drink and be merry!

The food will be catered and available to everyone attending the festival

Thanks to the Friends of Caledon for hosting the event and all the awesome local area businesses that sponsored it (Radley Cadillac Chevrolet of Fredericksburg, Dr. Wendy Moore Dentistry, King George Family Chiropractic, R.K. Payne HVAC Inc., and NARFE Credit Union) all the proceeds will benefit educational programming and projects within the park.

Kid-friendly is our middle name! We'll be doing hay wagon rides during the festival.

Ah, yes...the memories of being a kid again, hay wagon rides in the fall!

We want to be sure all our visitors (from the youngest little tikes to the eldest) enjoy the park and all that nature has to offer. That's why it's important for us to raise funds for improving the grounds, like the playground, and work on a memorial garden area outside the Visitor Center.

Artist John Shaw displays his immaculate collection of nature and wildlife drawings

A commemorative wine glass is a gift for you if you choose to partake in the wine tasting. This year’s wine glass art work will be another John Shaw. His brother, James, has kindly allowed us to use some of John’s earlier work for the glass. We will also continue to sell the other three John Shaw originals- the eagle, the great blue heron and the great horned owl. The art work for these glasses was donated to Caledon which is the only place it can be found!

Canopy of trees line Boyd's Hole Trail, which leads down to the Potomac River.

Bring the family for a ride through the woods, enjoy the colors of Caledon

The parking fee for this special event is $5/vehicle. Participation in the wine tasting is $10/person, which includes a commemorative wine glass. Be sure to have your ID with you, there will be a check to prove your age.
