Casper Band Appears at Pocahontas Premiere Concert Series
I’ve lived in Chesterfield County all of my life and there’s always been one local band that stood out from the rest, Casper Band.
For the last 30-plus years the Casper Band has been entertaining audiences in Virginia and up-and-down the East Coast. On Saturday, July 7th, 2012 at 6 p.m. the Casper Band will appear at the Pocahontas Premieres Summer Concert Series at Pocahontas State Park. Known as America’s premier party band, Casper has a musical repertoire that covers great dance music from many decades and genres, including Motown, rock, funk, swing and country.

For 30-plus years the Casper Band has been entertaining audiences in Virginia and up-and-down the East Coast.
Tickets are $10 each the day of the show, plus a $5 parking fee. But if you plan in advance to attend, purchase your tickets for only $10 and the parking fee is FREE! Season tickets are $45 with free parking. Children 10 and under are FREE. Gates open at 5 p.m. Food concessions and adult beverages (proper ID required) will be available. So bring the whole family and listen to great music while enjoying the outdoors.

Pocahontas State Park’s Heritage Amphitheater is located on 10301 State Park Road in Chesterfield. For concert and ticket information, click here, or call the park office at 804-796-4255. The park is located in Chesterfield County, about 20 miles from Richmond. It's easily accessible from Interstate 95, Route 288 and Route 360.
Drive Time: Northern Virginia, two hours; Richmond, half an hour; Tidewater/Norfolk/Virginia Beach, two hours; Roanoke, three hours.
