Exploring the Northwest River by Water
For experienced boaters with their own kayaks. This trip will traverse ~2 miles.

Location:Bob’s Fishing Hole - 4243 S. Battlefield Blvd, Chesapeake, VA 23322
Maximum capacity: 10
Age: 12 years and older
Pets: No
Amenities: One "rustic" porto john is available on site; recommended to take advantage of facilities prior to arrival
Clothing: Please dress appropriately for the weather and paddling, including a hat.
Supplies: Bring your own kayak, USCG approved life jacket (must be worn), and a paddle. Bring snacks, sunscreen, bug spray, hydrating fluids, any special medical needs (insulin, snacks, EpiPen, etc.)
Participants should be able to:
- Understand and follow directions to avoid/manage risks.
- Tolerate the elements including temperature for the duration.
