Join the rangers on a hunt for three of James River's 14 geocaches. We will be using handheld GPS units to locate hidden boxes of treasure (geocaches) in some of the most beautiful natural areas of the park. Who knows what we'll find!
This will be an easy one-mile round trip hike over mostly flat terrain. At the end of the program, be sure to stop by the Visitor Center to loan the GPS unit and search for more of James River's hidden treasures!
Please meet at Green Hill Pond. All materials provided. Suitable for all ages. Wear appropriate clothing and shoes for the weather and bring a water bottle with you. Parks are for everyone, please let us know if you need special accommodation.
