If you get tired of the hustle and bustle of Downtown Historic Gloucester during the Daffodil Festival, but still want to be enriched in local history, stop by the first Timberneck Open House of the year! Tour the historic home and learn about the restoration work done at the Fairfield foundation works to get it back into ship-shape. As you tour, you'll discover the lives of the family through the marks left behind on the house.
The Fairfield Foundation is a local non-profit dedicated to promoting and involving the public in hands-on archaeology, preservation, and education activities within Virginia's Middle Peninsula and surrounding areas.
