One of the best times to be on Hungry Mother Lake is in the early mornings when no one else is on the lake. It’s so peaceful with very little boat traffic, and the reflection is picture-perfect with mist rising from the water. Paddle with an interpreter as they discuss various natural features of the lake and answer all your questions. Must pre-register the night before at the Discovery Center. All guests must be at least 8 years old. Wear dry-wick clothing; no cotton.
