Join us for our new series "Tales and Trails" with Samuels Public Library. We're partnering together to celebrate our local community, the stories it holds, and the natural wonders found all around us.
Each installment will take place either at Shenandoah River State Park or at Samuels Public Library. The location of this program is located above in the "where" section. You can expect each program to have a story time, an education talk, and a hands-on activity.
Please see the attached PDF for a schedule of our Tales and Trails programs.
The theme of our first installment is squirrel appreciation. We've all seen squirrels scurrying around, but what are they doing? How do they survive winter? Do they have an ecological role? We'll answer all these questions and more during this program.
This program is for ages 5-10.
Registration is required. Please visit the library's website here to register or call the library at 540-635-3153.
