Wildflower Seed Bombs

Location of Hungry Mother State Park in Virginia

Where

Hungry Mother State Park, 2854 Park Blvd., Marion, VA 24354.
Spillway

When

March 21, 2026. 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

As spring bursts back to life, our local wildflowers take center stage, painting the landscape with color and supporting an incredible web of biodiversity. Nearly 80% of plants have evolved alongside animal pollinators, relying on birds, bees, and butterflies to carry their future from bloom to bloom. Join us in celebrating the season by giving nature a cheerful boost. We’ll roll up our sleeves to send wildflower "seed bombs" soaring into fields with slingshots, helping the right plants take root and letting Spring’s magic spread even farther.
