Come ring in the New Year with a fresh start on the Clyburn Ridge Trail! Experience nature during the brisk season of winter at your own pace on this self-guided hike. Before beginning your hike, take the time to jot down your hike resolutions inside the brochure found at the trailhead, so you can begin 2026 with a list of completed aspirations. This hike could be a chance to reach a certain number of steps for the day, a hydration goal, or even an opportunity to work on your flora/fauna identification skills. Perhaps this hike could be the beginning of your hiking accolades, the start of your health journey, or even the first page in finding a connection with nature! It all depends on you and what you want to get out of your first hike of the year. Don't forget to pick up a First Day Hike sticker from a ranger or at the office.

Enjoy that first hike of the year
