It’s Native American Heritage Month, and we’re excited to partner with Samuels Public Library to celebrate! Join us for a special program featuring a brief presentation on the rich Native American history of the Shenandoah Valley, followed by an engaging story time and a hands-on craft activity. To wrap up the experience, we’ll head outside and travel back in time to try out an atlatl—an ancient spear-throwing tool used by early peoples.

This program is designed for ages 7–17, and all children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the event.

Pre-registration is required. To sign up, please visit the library’s website here
