Discover the world of edible and medicinal plants on this ranger-led walk through the park. Learn how traditional herbal remedies (sometimes called "potions") like Goldenseal for colds and Ginger for digestion have been used for generations.
As a fun Halloween twist, we’ll craft simple, natural mixtures such as plantain poultices and offer samples of Spicebush berries (optional). We’ll also cover safe foraging practices and the history behind these healing plants.
