Have you ever seen a squirrel fly? Grayson Highlands State Park is home to one of only 50 flying squirrel species found throughout the world! Join a ranger outside of the Visitor Center as we make paper airplane flying squirrels to demonstrate how the squirrels actually glide, not fly, and learn other interesting facts about the nocturnal creatures! If weather is bad, the program will move indoors.
