Slither on down to the Visitor Center to weave a web of knowledge on the spookier side of nature. You might just learn they're not as creepy or crawly as they seem. Explore the information at your own pace and pick up crafts and handouts to continue learning at home. Each week we will shine a light on a new topic, and learn to fear them, nevermore.

October 4 - Bewitching Bats: Learn more about local bats and what we can do to help them out.
October 11 - Ominous Osteology: Get an inside peek at the life of mammals from their skeletal system.
October 18 - Creepy Crawlies: These creatures might give you the creeps, but they play crucial roles in our ecosystem. Come learn why they're nature's hidden heroes.
October 25 - Pick Your Poison: For the final week of October pick from a variety of topics that have been featured throughout the month.
