Help support the park you love. We are in need of volunteer Ambassadors to join the park support group, the Claytor Lake State Park Ambassadors. The Ambassadors help the park by volunteering, raising funds for equipment, supplies, services, assist at special events and more. Join us at the monthly Ambassador meeting (typically every 3rd Tuesday) to get involved or contact the park. If you're interested in routinely volunteering at the park, please complete a volunteer application here. Park volunteers earn a variety of benefits depending on the number of hours served.
There is no parking fee due to attend the meeting. Please park at the Water's Edge Meeting Facility located adjacent to the Marina. Please monitor this event listing on the park's website for meeting updates and announcements in case of inclement weather, cancellations, etc.
