The Friends of Occoneechee bring you their second annual Turkey Trot 5K race and fun run/walk. This 5K will take place in the beautiful scenery of Occoneechee State Park, which borders Buggs Island Lake and the attractive lakefront town of Clarksville, VA. Strollers, well-mannered pets on a leash and costumes are also welcome. The course consists of paved roads, rolling hills, and lake views as it winds through wooded areas of the park. Medals will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers of the 5K and top finisher in various age groups.
The registration fee is $25 per entrant. If you register by October 20th you can order an event t-shirt with your registration. The $7 parking fee applies, however, a donation of 4 canned food items can waive the parking fee.

This event will be officially timed and measured by The Brick Running and Tri Store.
