It's National Beach Day and we are on an expedition to have some fun, make a splash, and discover some of the tiny creatures that inhabit the shoreline of the Rappahannock River. Join a ranger at the beach near the picnic area and use a seining net to round up some interesting specimens. You never know what we will find. This program is conducted in accordance with Virginia state law; park staff possess the proper permits and training to collect and briefly handle certain aquatic wildlife.
