Aug. 1, 2025. 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.

How can one trail have so much to offer? Hike with a park ranger down Crostic Forest Trail to discover something new each week.

Our forest trails are seemingly boring, wide, hard packed gravel trails but they offer a lot of learning opportunities. From hidden histories to towering trees the ranger will show you all the overlooked treasures on the trail.

Wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather. Hikes will be about a mile in length and suitable for all ages. Leashed pets and strollers are encouraged.

Please call (804) 796-4472 or email Rebecca.Whalen@dcr.virginia.gov for more information.
