Want to learn how to go geocaching? Join one of our rangers on a guided program on how to start your geocache adventure. Geocaching is a worldwide game of hiding and seeking treasure. A geocacher can place a geocache out in the world, pinpoint its location using GPS technology, and then share the geocache's existence and location online. It is a great way to get outdoors and explore trails and parks.    Our Park Interpreter will teach you the basics, and then we will go to find one cache together in the park. To participate, you must have a smartphone or tablet with the geocaching app downloaded and a free account created. You can create a free account here. http://www.geocaching.com. Please prepare for the weather, as we will be outside for most of the time. Meet the Park Interpreters at the Visitor Center, then be prepared for a 0.5-mile walk on the Beach View Trail.
