Ever wonder what creatures live in the dark depths of a freshwater marsh? Do you ponder the mysteries of vernal pools? Discover hidden life in the wetland waters of Belle Isle State Park. We will take a short hike on the White Oak Swamp Trail to a nearby hidden wetland and keep a lookout for critters large and small.

Meet near sites 29 and 30, at the start of Campground Spur Trail.
