When

July 11, 2025. 8:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

See the night-time world like you've never seen it before! A park ranger will guide you on a search for crawling critters of the dark. A special ultra-violet flashlight will be used to reveal the hidden colors of insects and other living creatures.

The walk will be less than half a mile on flat ground at a slow pace with frequent breaks as bugs are discovered. Please wear closed-toe shoes and be prepared to walk in the dark. Bring a red-light flashlight or headlamp with a red light setting if you have one. If not, the ranger will provide red plastic sheets to cover your flashlight.

Register here to let us know you're coming. We will contact you if the program is cancelled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
