Beach Breezeway
When
July 26, 2025. 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Join us for a paddle clean-up event on Fairy Stone Lake! Two park rangers will be leading a volunteer shoreline cleanup from the water. Using a single or tandem kayak, which are free for volunteers to use for this event, you will paddle along the Fairy Stone Lake shoreline and grab trash with grabbers as we go. Trash grabbers and nitrile gloves will be supplied by the park.
The group will meet at the Beach Breezeway at 12 p.m. to debrief and get in the water by 12:30 p.m. Please make sure to have a volunteer mirror tag visible on your car's dash, which you can get at the Front Office or the Contact Station.
The use of personal flotation devices is required at all times while on the water. You can either bring your own or the park will supply them free of charge. You are welcome to use your own kayak as well, if desired.
If you are interested, please sign up here. A maximum of 12 boats will be allowed for this event.
