Perfect for beginners, this class will help you connect with nature and start your bird-watching journey. Discover the basics of bird watching. Learn how to identify common local species, use binoculars, and understand bird behaviors and habitats. Join us for a morning of exploration and bird-watching tips to enhance your outdoor adventures. We will have binoculars you can borrow and will introduce you to some other tools to help you on your bird watching journey. Download the Merlin app to your phone and create a free account before the class. Children under 10 years old might find this class a little slow. Please bring your water bottle, wear weather appropriate clothes, insect repellent and sunscreen. Meet at the Interpretive Center. After the introduction, we will take a walk along a trail.
