Turtle Pond by the Kayak Launch

Stop by our table at the turtle pond where a ranger will be stationed to provide information about Virginia’s native turtle species. Get a chance to look at different turtle shells up-close and learn about the important role turtles play in the park. There will also be binoculars available to view the many turtles sunning themselves and swimming around Mason Neck’s turtle pond. Stop by for as long or as little as you like!
