Kayak season is here! Kayak the Clinch with rangers from Clinch River State Park on Saturday, June 28th. This is a good float for beginners and will be about 2.5 miles from Old Castlewood to St. Paul. Registration is required and is limited to eight people. Children must be 13 years of age or older to float. A shuttle will leave the UVA Wise Oxbow Center in St. Paul at 12 p.m. The program fee is $20 and covers use of the kayak, paddle and life jacket.
