July 11, 2025. 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Join a ranger for a bird identification hike! We will be identifying birds by what they look like and also their songs and calls. This can be a great way to learn about some of Virginia's native bird species and invasive species. Birds are an important part of our environment; they are one of Virginia's biggest pollinators! Come put your knowledge and senses to the test! Meeting for this program will be at the Sugar Hill Trail head next to Oxbow Lake. Please wear close toed shoes and bring water as we will be hiking. We hope to see you there!
