Come join us for a fun day in the river looking at mussels! We will be getting into a shallow part of the Clinch River using view finders and snorkel masks to have a close look at mussels. There are over 50 different species of mussels in the Clinch. 28 of those species are endangered. This program gives you a chance to learn more about what mussels do all while getting a close look at them. Please wear close toed water shoes, we also recommend you bring water and wear sunscreen. Meeting for this program will be at the Oxbow center here in St. Paul, Virginia. A van ride will be provided down to the river. We hope to see you there!
