This talk gives visitors a clear overview of the key Federal and Confederate commanders, their backgrounds, and their roles in the fighting on April 6, 1865. It serves as a broad orientation to the personalities and command structures that shaped the battle. Speak to a ranger in the Visitor Center to start this program anytime between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
