2025 Great American Campout by the Natural Bridge

For the first time in the park's history, camp out by the Natural Bridge and spend the night on Cedar Creek Trail. Rangers will be on hand to help you get your gear on the trail and your campsite set up, followed by a campfire-style dinner at Cedar Creek pavilion. At sunset, rangers will lead a lightning bug walk on the trail and give you an up-close look at how these bioluminescent bugs live. When the sun has set, rangers will lead a stargazing program under the Natural Bridge. First thing in the morning, help yourself to a grab-and-go breakfast from the pavilion and eat anywhere along Cedar Creek trail.

It is a tight squeeze on Cedar Creek trail, so space is limited! The program is $40 per campsite, which includes park admission, dinner, and breakfast. Pre-registration is required; you can register by calling (540) 254-0795.

Check-in begins at 4:00 p.m. and goes until 6:00 p.m.; after-hour check ins will need to set up a time to check in by calling (540) 254-0795. All camping equipment must be off the trail by 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 28th.
