You can learn a lot about the health of a stream by seeing what lives beneath its surface. We will take a short hike to our location and catch some live critters in the creek that feeds it. Get ready to get your feet wet, so please bring correct footwear. Please meet at the Visitor Center. This program is conducted in accordance with Virginia law; park staff possess the proper permits and training to collect and briefly handle certain wildlife.
