"Love is like wildflowers; it's often found in the most unlikely places." -- Ralph Waldo Emerson

Just as there are thousands of flowers in the world, there are as many ways to be shown love by a mother, grandmother, stepparent, and other caregivers. This Mother's Day weekend, come on a hike to discover the variety of wildflowers that can be found around Widewater State Park.

Participants will meet the hike leaders inside the Visitor Center. Closed-toed shoes are recommended, and don't forget to bring a bottle of water and some snacks for along the way. It is also mosquito and tick season, so bug spray is highly encouraged, along with sunscreen and a hat.
