Bear Creek Lake is modest in size yet has a many-faceted story to tell. This hour-long activity will help you gain paddling skills while we tour both the wetland and the historical ends of the lake. All necessary gear and safety equipment is provided. Advance registration is required at least six hours before the event through Eventbrite HERE.

Registration is by canoe, and each canoe holds a maximum of two adults and one child under 12 years old. The minimum age to participate is 6 years old. Only six canoes are available. The cost per canoe is $12.51.

Participants coming to the park only for this activity will be given a parking pass per vehicle valid for the duration of the event. Groups of eight or more please contact bcguide@dcr.virginia.gov to request a private tour.
