Spring BioBlitz: Newt Navigator Guided Hike

Team up with a Virginia Museum of Natural History expert as we hike the Oak Hickory Trail and find out more about the park's native amphibians.

Be part of the iNaturalist BioBlitz at Fairy Stone State Park, where students, park rangers, scientists, and community members unite to explore and identify as many species as possible.

Oak Hickory Trail is a 1.1 mile loop trail. It is rated moderate for difficulty. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring plenty of water.

To ensure an enjoyable time, please alert park staff to any necessary special accommodations you or your group may need. Parks are for everyone; this is an inclusive program open to all people.
