Make a one-of-a-kind souvenir by learning wood turning techniques to create your own pen. This event is in partnership with the Clifton Forge School of the Arts.

During this course, participants will be introduced to the essential concepts, tools, and techniques involved in woodturning. Through step-by-step guidance, you will learn how to transform raw wood blanks into intricately designed pens using a lathe, a versatile machine used for shaping and carving wood. The instructor will provide personalized feedback and guidance to help students overcome challenges and improve their craftsmanship every step of the way.

Two Class Times: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. on May 10

Class Size: Minimum of 4, Maximum of 8

Price: $55 per person, plus a $5 materials fee paid to the instructor at the beginning of class

Ages: 13-adult (under 13 can attend with a registered adult and will work together on one pen together)
