April Volunteer Workday: Plant-the-Bed Day

Where
Claytor Lake State Park, 6620 Ben H. Bolen Dr., Dublin, VA 24084.
Marina Parking Lot
When
April 26, 2025. 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Come help out the park by planting natives in our Marina garden beds for our first volunteer workday project.
Each month, volunteers of all ages and skill levels are welcome to work together on a project that helps improve and maintain our beautiful park. Projects vary each month and may include tasks like trail maintenance, park beautification, litter cleanup, or special volunteer projects. This is a great opportunity to get outside, meet new people, and give back to the park you love.
No experience is necessary, and all tools and supplies are provided. Please bring gardening gloves if you have them, wear closed-toe shoes, and don't forget some water. Together we can make a real difference at Claytor Lake State Park. Please email Hannah.Wetzel@dcr.virginia.gov if you have any questions.
