Come on out to the park and test your paddling skills. Our interpretive ranger will escort everyone to the private lake on the park property and will then demonstrate some basic techniques and tricks that will help as you venture out onto the water. Personal Flotation Devices, boats, and paddles will be provided. If you have a small child or a dog that you would like to take out on the water then you will need to provide your own life jacket for them.
Seats are limited to 14 per trip, so be sure to show up early. You can also call our Visitor Center and reserve a specific date to guarantee your spot on a boat. The fee for the program is $5.00 per participant. The standard parking fee is also required unless you are a cabin or campground guest.
