Celebrate National Beaver Day a day early on Mason Neck’s Bay View Trail where you will be able to observe multiple beaver dams and a beaver lodge. Learn from a ranger about the impact that beavers and their dams have on the ecosystem and why their presence is crucial for so many other species. This program will be sure to help you greater appreciate nature’s engineers!
