Come participate in exciting programs that connect kids with the outdoors. This year Smith Mountain Lake State Park is partnering with the Blue Ridge Foothills and Lakes chapter of the Virginia Master Naturalists to present a Nature Expo. You'll experience a wide variety of nature activities like worm-composting, exploring local wildlife, water critter investigation, and nature crafts. There will also be guided hikes and face-painting.
All activities are free. Regular parking fees still apply. For more information call the park office.
