If you love working outdoors and meeting new and interesting people, you won’t want to miss our annual Volunteer Kickoff at Powhatan State Park! This year’s kickoff features a hands-on conservation project: planting native tree and shrub species to help establish a new wildlife corridor within the park. Whether you’re ready to grab a shovel or simply want to learn more about volunteering, this event is the perfect place to start.

Attendees are invited to participate in the native tree and shrub planting. All tools and materials will be provided.
