Lend a hand and help clean up the sand after Memorial Day weekend!
Each month, volunteers of all ages and skill levels are welcome to work together on a project that helps improve and maintain our beautiful park. Projects vary each month and may include tasks like trail maintenance, park beautification, litter cleanup, or special volunteer projects. This is a great opportunity to get outside, meet new people, and give back to the park you love.
No experience is necessary, and all tools and supplies are provided. Please bring sunscreen, wear closed-toe shoes, and don't forget some water. Whether you can stay for 20 minutes or the full event, every helping hand makes a difference. We're coming together to keep our shoreline clean, safe and beautiful after a busy holiday weekend. Please email Hannah.Wetzel@dcr.virginia.gov if you have any questions.
The parking fee is waived for all volunteers.
