Would you like to have the chance to explore the trails in Powhatan State Park and meet new people? If so, you may enjoy our hiking series. Each month we will hike a different trail in the park and learn about local history and wildlife.

Please wear closed-toed shoes, bring plenty of water, and snacks if you'd like. Be aware that these hikes are 2.5-4 miles over uneven terrain in all weather conditions, excluding thunderstorms.

FEB: River, Gold Dust, Turkey Loop (2.5 miles) - Meet at the Trailhead/Equestrian parking lot.
MAR: Cabin Trail/Big Woods Trails (2.5 miles) - Meet at the playground parking lot.
APR: Pine Trail (2.5 miles) - Meet at the Trailhead/Equestrian parking lot.
MAY: Coyote Run Trail (4 miles) - Meet at the Trailhead/Equestrian parking lot.
JUN: River, Gold Dust, Turkey Trails (2.5 miles) - Meet at the Trailhead/Equestrian parking lot.
JUL: Cabin Trail/Big Woods Trails (2.5 miles) - Meet at the playground parking lot.
AUG: Pine Trail (2.5 miles) - Meet at the Trailhead/Equestrian parking lot.
