When

Feb. 12, 2025. 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Take a walk through the forested trail as the Full Moon rises in the sky. This time of year is great for hearing and seeing owls as the trees have yet to leaf out, and if it is a clear sky then there will be some beautiful star-scapes to view over the water!

This hike will be on the Holly Marsh Trail, which is from the Visitor Center, down to the Potomac River, and then back again. Total, the hike is ~2 miles long. Make sure to meet your hike guide at the Visitor Center about 5 minutes before the hike is to begin. Please dress for the weather and don't forget to bring some water to stay hydrated! Leashed dogs that are good with people, other dogs, and wildlife are welcome on this hike.
