Too cold to paddle? Take a closer look at Bear Creek Lake and its wetland areas along the moderately difficult terrain of the Lakeside Connector Trail. Downloading our Self-guided Aquatic Trail brochure will describe highlights across the water on your self-paced walk. Each stopping point is paired with a brief paragraph of information about the then and now of Bear Creek Lake. You may also be lucky enough to see aquatic neighbors along your route. Park trail guides are located at the park office, as are copies of the Aquatic Trail brochure. Additional trail guides are available at the Channel Cat Trail head at the beach parking area.
