Just as caterpillars grow and change, our Caterpillar Club programs are designed to help your little one grow and change. Each week, we will have you and your child(ren) exploring our natural world through a variety of seasonally appropriate, hands-on activities that will foster children's inborn sense of wonder and curiosity. These experiences are gauged towards early childhood (3-5 years old), but of course, all family members are welcome and encouraged to participate. Every program supports Virginia's Blocks for Early Learning.

Please dress for the weather. We are meeting at the Visitor Center.

January 2 - Happy Bird Day: Prepare for National Bird Day on the 5th with a lesson on our feathered friends.
January 9 - Top of the Food Chain: With the wolf moon right around the corner, come learn about predator animals in the area.
January 16 - Sticker Hike: Track your hike with stickers as you investigate the park's surroundings.
January 23 - Makin' Tracks: Who goes there? Try to track some mammals with footsteps alone.
January 30 - Ice Exploration: Investigate this chilly weather with an inside peak into the life of ice.
